Root Bottom Farm grows high-quality, organic specialty crops including: microgreens, root crops, herbs, flowers, berries and vegetables. We also specialize in multiple garlic varieties and bulk seed garlic is available for sale. Root Bottom products can be enjoyed through our weekly CSA, our popular farm dinners, at the West Asheville Market every Tuesday from 3:30-6:30 on Haywood Rd and at the Brevard Market every Saturday 8-12 in downtown Brevard. |
| Interests | Root Bottom Farm is owned and loved by Sarah Jones Decker & Morgan Decker. Started in 2011, their small farm is located in the mountains of Madison County, NC just outside of Asheville, NC. Morgan has been farming full-time since 2008 in Vermont, Utah and now North Carolina. When not farming, Sarah is a working artist and teaches photography at AB Tech Community College and Mars Hill University. When they aren't deep in the dirt you can find them going on like bike tours, paddling or skiing big mountains out West. Together they have biked 1, 200 miles from their farm in North Carolina to Key West, the entire Blue Ridge and Natchez Trace Parkways and rowed the Grand Canyon. Love life. |
