| Introduction | I love to write! I've loved to write since elementary school. I did extra credit book reports, wrote poetry, and essays whenever possible. It wasn't until several years ago, that I realized I had a passion for writing children's books. I enrolled in the Institute of Children's Literature and earned certificates in Writing for Children and the Advanced Writer course. I love adventure and mystery and have developed quite the interest in "creatures of the unknown". I've written my first middle-grade fiction novel, The Batsquatch Gang about a Pacific Northwest legend, Batsquatch. It tells the tale of how three pre-teens get lost in the woods of Mt. Saint Helens and come face to face with the beast and go from being the hunters, to the hunted. I'm currently working on getting it published and writing the second manuscript in the series. When I'm not writing, I work in marketing at a large, privately owned physical therapy practice. I'm so fortunate to be blessed with two boys and a fantastic hubby; all of which inspire me everyday. |
