| Introduction | My GREATEST accomplishments, in life are my 4 boys. I have raised 3 MAGNIFICENT, sons. The year my youngest son, graduated, High School, I felt the "empty nest anxiety", so I adopted a newborn. My youngest child is also a boy, now 6 years old, named Zachariah. My life revolves around my best friend/my husband, Buck, my 4 sons, and my adorable, GRANDchildren. I am truly blessed to have been given such a healthy and beautiful family. In April, 2009, my husband became disabled, left his job after 28 years, and we moved to my hometown, Appomattox, hoping to raise Zac in the same "small town" atmosphere, I was privileged to grow up in. Living away from my children and grandchildren for 2 & 1/2 years, have taught me, that "HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS", my heart is with my children and GRANDchildren - in Gloucester, VA. My goal is to move back to be near them, and start a bakery business with my Mother. Living in Appomattox, has given me the opportunity, to grow stronger in my faith, prioritize, my life and BAKE. Lots of baking! I've had lots of extra time,to learn some magnificent recipes, and have began writing a cookbook. |
