| Introduction | My lifelong fascination with birds led me to explore the art of bird carving. I studied the craft with several professionals, honing my skills and learning new techniques. I strive to link authenticity with creative expression, studying the species carefully for exact replication of the nuances of nature, and mounting the bird artistically. My work has received top awards, nationally and internationally, and has been praised for its subtle texturing and shading. My studio is located in southern Muskoka, just off Highway 11 near the Muskoka Tourism Centre.
