| Introduction | I am a creative person. I draw, I paint, I photograph, but mostly, I write. I write about people, about emotions, and about the world around me. I put myself in my writing, we cannot be separated, although the self I put it may not always be my present self. I like to opt for twists on the simple or classic, juxtaposing the delicate against the bold, the old fashioned against the contemporary. It is important to me that people have fun in the way the express themselves, be it with the words they choose or even the way they dress. I love images that capture an emotion or a person's essence. I think it is possible for someone to be different things to different people and in different situations. The contrast between the different roles someone can play is their own life is something which I find both striking and poignant. You get the writer side of me, but I am also a daughter, a sister, a lover, and a friend, among other things. |
