| Introduction | I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (BSEd) major in English Language and Literature from the College of Education, West Visayas State University, known as the "Center of Excellence in Teacher Education in Western Visayas".I have a non-degree diploma in Creative Writing from the University of the Philippines in the Visayas through its Center of Continuing Education. My special training in Journalism Ethics was completed at the Development Academy of the Philippines in Tagaytay City under the Philippine Association of Administators of Students' Affairs, Inc. (PAASA). During my student days I was the Editor-in-Chief of SILAK, the Official student Publication of West Visayas State University-College of Education. During my incumbency, SILAK was adjudged "The Best Departmental Publication in Western Visayas" by the Philippine Information Agency. I also served as News Editor of FORUM-DIMENSIONS, the Official University Publications of West Visayas State University. |
