| Introduction | I believe my creator made me beautifully, like a reflection of himself! But I was marred by choice, whether it was his or mine I do not know. I do know that I no longer reflect my Maker's beauty. I'm like a painting that was dragged through the mud, ruined irrevocably. Yet even in my rotten state, Jesus loved me more than life and died to rescue me. But his death was not a defeat; no, it was the ultimate victory. In his death I have been made anew! I'm a long way from the original glory of his design, but each day I see small victories on the road to ultimate freedom. This is only the beginning of a grand journey, which will consist in all kinds of trials, struggles and losses. But in the end, I know that my destination, a foregin land to me now, is my home. It is where, I believe, we all long to be. There is one way to get there, one gate through which we must walk. The gate called Christ. So let us begin this great journey, it will be the trek of a lifetime! |
