|Introduction||Greetings! Telecommunications and all things tech has been a well-traveled road for me. I grew up in the telecommunications business, working for a family-owned independent telephone company. Starting in the late 1970s, I became employed full-time, and spent much time with technologies including electro-mechanical, analog, digital, and now VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol). Learning about new technology and writing about it via this blog, is something I enjoy doing. Researching the technologies of the past, working with the technologies of the present, and continually pondering its future and its impact on society are topics I enjoy. I strive to provide quality content for my hometown's print and online newspapers as a freelance columnist and contributor. In addition to newspaper print and online media, I provide updated quality technology content on this blog. I hope you enjoy reading my perspectives on technology via the print and digital content I write. Follow me on: Twitter: @bitsandbytes. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org|
