| Introduction | Welcome to my blog! This is a place were I'd like to share some of my reflections on life --and most importantly-- God's Word. |
| Interests | I was raised on a little Pennsylvania farm with my 11 rambunctious siblings. Now I live in the panhandle of Nebraska, married to my entrepreneur husband. Together our foremost desire is to be faithful stewards of Christ. Amid establishing his lawn care and construction business and long paramedic shifts, we are remodeling our house and striving to make time for eternal investment in God's word, our marriage, our little son, and the church. I am a left-hander that enjoys photography, card-making, writing, painting, outdoor walks and work, cooking, and homeschooling. I have an ongoing habit of rearranging furniture. My favorite thing to do is learn more about the Lord by my husband's side. |
| Favorite books | My testimony of Salvation: I remember as a young child believing that the Earth indeed had a Creator. I believed other lessons from the Bible I was taught and that Christ had died for my sins. I knew well that I was a sinner. I also recognized my need for the Savior. I recall asking forgiveness for my sins around the age of 6 or 7 and praying for Salvation. Over the years I struggled with assurance and asked the Lord to save me several times. After my sister's baptism I want to be baptized as well. I asked myself, "Why?". I prayed hard that I would get my Salvation settled-- I remember in the summer of 2008 at the age of 13 I spent much time talking with God and asking for assurance. Through reading His Word more and with the guidance of my parent and others, I came to have a better understanding of my need and the provision that only the Lord can supply. Salvation is a gift, we only have to simply receive it! As the years past I continue to surrender my life fully to Him and ask for stronger faith and deeper trust in the Lord. I thank the Lord for the New Life and trust I have received in Him, even though I do not know the exact date I became His own. |
