| Introduction | I am a coastal Kannadiga settled in Bangalore for almost 20 years now. I speak English and Hindi as fluently as I speak Kannada- well, almost ….may be my Hindi is not as fluent yet. I love my mother tongue and I make it a point that my children speak in Kannada. However, at the same time I appreciate other languages as well. I read a lot of books. I can appreciate Kuvempu as much as I appreciate Jane Austin. Working in an IT industry, I meet and interact with a lot of non-Kannadigas who always tell me “I want to learn to speak Kannada. Will you help me?” Well, this is how the Let’s Kannada Blog has come into being. By the way, did I also mention that I love writing? |
