| Introduction | A treasure hunter by birth. My family was hunting treasures in the deserts of Texas and Arizona Long before I came along. As a child, I would hunt Native American ruins, caves, wagon trails, old houses, any place that had potential for finding lost treasures. My finds back then were pottery, old lanterns, wooden crates, hieroglyphs, turquoise, molten copper, and other fascinating finds. One time, while on an old wagon train in the deserts of Arizona,I came across an old wagon. While looking around, I saw something out of place in the sand. It turned out to be a gold ring. I showed it to my father and I will neverforget what he said. "Somebody died out here, and this was theirs. Never take anythingthat belongs to someone else. We don't take from others." He took the ring and buried it beside the wagon. I learned a few things that day. Respecting others was a proprity, and... .....I LOVED the sight and the feel of gold! I was hooked serious from that moment on. From panning for gold in the hills of California, to metal detecting the CivilWar Battlefields of the east, I am, and will always be A treasure hunter through and through. |
