Introduction Riley is working on his PhD in Biomedical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology, in Dr. Steve Potter's lab. Riley's research interests include the role of the axon in neural computation, applications of basic neuroscience to artificial intelligence, and open-source electrophysiology tools. When not attempting to remotely instigate revolutions in artificial intelligence from the safety of neuroscience, he is a member of the art-science collaboration Neurotica, a regular contributor to the Neuroethics Blog, and is a Neuroethics Scholar in the Emory University Neuroethics program.
