Introduction	I am a hopeless diary writer, but I love to write...I will write every day for a week and then for 8 months write nothing! This blog is a place for me to put in words my thoughts on various subjects and tell stories of my life's adventures. I have what I consider a "grasshopper mind", hence the blog title. I love to see new places and explore...I absolutely HATE tour groups and have a fear of being a sheep following a flag. I love people, I trust too easily and end up being hurt...I love food, but struggle constantly with my weight. I feel ordinary, but am living an extraordinary life. So, I am an ordinary Australian woman having a bit of a mid-life crisis. One day I packed my bags and took off for a year in Sicily. One year turned into two which turned into two years and eight months and now I'm dying to get back to that life. It wasn't always smooth sailing and many times I just wanted to give up and go home and live a "normal" life with "normal" people...but where's the fun in that??? :) I really don't know who I am, but keep reading and maybe we will both find out.
