Introduction I was born in Denmark. My mother is from Iceland and my father is from Denmark. I grew up in Mestersvig (Greenland) and Norway. Most of my schooling is from Norway. I'm educated as a carpenter in Denmark. I spent 5 years in the Danish army and navy. From March 2005 - July 2007 I was a member of the military Sledge patrol SIRIUS. From aug 2007 to aug 2008 I was working as the station leader on Naval guard Mestersvig, NE-Greenland. I have a Bachelor in Geology from Norway. I spent 2 years on Svalbard, studying and working as a guide. I have a master in Glacial-geology from the University of Iceland. From 2011-2015 I worked as an exploration geologist with "Store Norske", a coal mining company on Svalbard. Currently I work as a natural hazards specialist at the Icelandic Meteorological office in Iceland.
