| Introduction | [2013] 20 + years in sales - spent the first 13 years making just about every mistake you could make...! I thought sales was something that you "did" to someone, it was persuasion and manipulation. Over the the last 7 years I have consistently been the all time producer at two different companies. What changed? This blog will talk about sales in general, the changes I have made, and specifically - how to approach sales with integrity and honor. Also mixed in will be some humor, tragedy, and in general - living life out-loud. I am not trying to position myself as someone who has all the answers, rather - I am hoping to ask some good questions and help you think about how you sell. On our journey together, I am sure that you will teach me more than I will teach you... My passions (aside from sales) just to name a few: Jesus, my family, the local church, exploring what Christian growth means, merging technology and information visualization, hand held devices (iphone user) and Mind Mapping. |
