| Introduction | I have spent more than one thousand days working for newspapers and magazines. I am a writer. And now a tutor for children with developmental disabilities. It is my fifth year living in Winnipeg, Canada. Currently, I am doing my Masters in the Department of Educational Psychology at University of Manitoba. Although, coming here has been one of the toughest decisions; having my husband and Floyd with me have helped me a lot. Being far away from home is not easy: you miss birthdays, weddings, births, etc, etc. Writing is my way of shorten the distances between me and them as well as to better explore my inner world.
