Introduction	Born in Rhodes Island, Greece, I was picking up gyros and souvlakes from the neighborhood Gyro shop every weekend. That was my kids meal and a real special treat. My family moved to the U.S. and grew up around the restaurant business. The first thing I read in English was a restaurant menu, learned cooking at a very early age and realized it's what I love doing. I put my heart in my work, passionate and was fortunate the Greek cuisine was the heart of my family and a natural to make it part of my working life and career. I am pretty simple in many ways, pragmatic and like to devote time creating and learning about things that interest me daily with food and life in general. What my father taught me is "work hard and honest and everything else will come in time".
