| Introduction | Kristine has been in education since 1993. She has taught fourth grade in Ohio from 1993 - 2008. She accepted a new position as a Curriculum Coordinator for her district for the upcoming year. When Kristine was a fourth grade teacher she started an innovative program that stresses community building, citizenship, and student recognition that has been a cornerstone in helping students transition smoothly from the elementary to the intermediate school. Kristine has a M.A. in Children’s Literature from The Ohio State University, a B.S. in Elementary Educationand a B.A. in Psychology from Miami University. She is a Nationally Board Certified Teacher and continually attends conferences and workshops that focus on reading, writing, and literacy. |
