| Interests | Selmo Cristo lives in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas for 14 years and since he settled here he has noticed the rapid deterioration of green spaces. The rapid urbanization of McAllen, for example, as well as the process of urbanization have negatively impacted the city at environmental point of view. Still, the blogger is a journalist, former sociology instructor and very concerned about the future of McAllen and surrounding cities, such as Mission, Pharr, and Edinburgh. A healthy environment, capable to provide good physical and mental health depends on our volunteerism to continue.
