| Introduction | I've always enjoyed working with children probably because I feel more like a child myself most of the time. I also feel the need to assist children in their learning process because for me and my learning process, it seemed to be a long long journey where my survival just happened to be just short of a miracle. If it were not for the few teachers that I had that helped me push through and took the extra effort to personally assist me, I don't think I really would have truly survived. I am grateful to those teachers and my desire is to become one of those teachers and give back what was given to me. I believe students can be taught in a way where they can enjoy learning and where everyone can feel the joys of success and accomplishment which will then guide them through the the rest of their lives just like it did me. I believe that learning can be fun if taught in the right way, and just giving students the feeling of happiness and joy in a classroom will give them something they will carry with them throughout the rest of their life. |
