Introduction | A visit to a Tokyo electronics store (circa 1966) where each television is turned up to nine and tuned to a different channel. Dojinshi is an electronic music group/project/band/concern reinterpreting Japan's culture musically by mixing old scraps of its media with original composition--something between musique concrete and DJ Shadow but more like Amon Tobin or Radio Zumbido without the funkiness. Dojinshi is Chris Fuller who is the composer/producer and Clarence Horne Hamms who helps out with everything else. Dojinshi is a Scary Bodega Productions production. |
