About me

Industry Environment
Occupation Landscape Architect
Location West Sacramento, California, United States
Introduction As a baby designer right out of landscape architecture school many years ago, I cut my teeth designing grocery store parking lots and production home landscapes with hardly a native plant in sight. Today, as a half-grown landscape architect, I get to use heaps of California native plants in my landscape designs and habitat restoration work. When I’m not restoring riparian landscapes, I’m haunting antique garden shops, sketching, working on my home garden, and ever-so-slowly converting my homeowners association landscape to a wildlife habitat. I'm pleased to have you here. I hope you enjoy your visit!
Interests creating beautiful gardens, native plants, cool bugs in my garden, yoga, arty things, photography, a good pinot noir
Favorite Movies The Princess Bride, Snatch, Pan's Labyrinth
Favorite Books Cadillac Desert, Native Gardens for Dry Climates, Scent of a Strange Mountain
