| Introduction | I am a mom of three beautiful children. I love to cook and bake. I run regularly and compete in a few road races each year, when I am not running after my kiddos. My two favorite races are the Cherry Blossom 10 Miler (8 time finisher) and the Marine Corps Marathon (5 time finisher). I love to travel and have been all over the world. Since meeting my husband almost nine years ago, I’ve seldom heard him complain about his visual impairment and I’ve never heard him use it as an excuse for why he couldn’t do something (except maybe for sweeping), so when he said he was maybe sort of thinking about trying to make the U.S. Paralympic team, I committed to helping him in whatever way I can. I hope you’ll enjoy this journey to Rio (or at least Paralympic trials) with us. |
