Introduction | I am, indeed, a king, because I know how to rule myself. The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes. I think I am responsible for what I am, and whatever I wish myself to be, I have the power to make myself. If what I am now is the result of my own past actions, it certainly follows that whatever I wish to be in future can be produced by my present actions; so I have to know how to act... |
Interests | Singing - Every body says I sing well. Photography - Still a novice. Need to put in a lot of effort. Dancing - I dance but only in my bathroom. Perhaps, the most vigorous bathroom dancer ever. Histrionics - Life is a act and I am the actor. Blogging - The rippling thoughts of a devastated mind. Reading - Nothing like a good book. Working - There is work at every minute, at every moment of life. GD and debating - I think I have gained more knowledge by conversing with people than by reading books. Playing - Play to stay fit, play to stay happy. |
Favorite movies | Satyajit Ray's movies, Hrishikesh Mukherjee's movies, Adam Sandler starrers. Any clean comedy movie is in my list. |
Favorite music | Rabindra Sangeet - When I listen to Tagore, I realise that I have nothing new to say. This man has culled all my feelings long before I was born. Anything soothing to the ear from K.L. Saigal to Bryan Adams Any song with good music and sound lyrics. To be honest I cant live without music. |
Favorite books | Loads... Here are my ratings.. 1) Sherlock Holmes - By Sir A.C. Doyle 2) The Interpreter of Maladies - By Jhumpa Lahiri 3) To Kill a MockingBird - By Harper Lee |
