| Introduction | I’m nobody really, just another agent of the human race, trying to do my share to uphold life on earth. I live in a small, old adobe house outside a small town in the middle of nowhere in the desert. The compound (where I live) used to look like something out of a Mad Max movie but it looks a little better now (at least it's all paid for). I teach accounting and economics at a non-prestigious community college to students that are mostly not on the fast-track to wealth and fame, but I love my job and my students. My wife and kids are healthy for which I am grateful. I like to garden and exercise (a little obsessive about the exercise). I've noticed some sun damage on the sides of my neck from being outside too much. Yes I use sunscreen. When I'm not teaching, I am usually running around in a loincloth tending to my oasis. When I need clothes, I usually buy them at Costco, or else someone gives them to me. And I read a lot. |
