Introduction	Ever since I can remember, I have been interested in....maybe fascinated....with what makes people do things and how communication fits in with that process. I'm a relatively average person. Taught English composition at college level for 30+ years. Retired and now full-time babysitter for my four-year-old granddaughter. Once thought I wanted to be a classical guitarist, until it became clear I had mediocre talent. My whole career was spent teaching people to write and speak persuasively. In order to do this I dug deeply into what determines good communication. This blog is a result of those years of investigation and attempts to pass insights into communication and motivation on to others.
