| Introduction | Book clubs have been around forever and have become regarded as stuffy, boring groups of strangers who, in an attempt to outdo each other intellectually, wind up reading books everyone hates. We are not that book club. Reading Between The Wines operates on three basic fundamentals: Interesting books, abundant wine, and defying the (grotesquely incorrect) stereotype of female friendship. We are a diverse group of women with various cultural, economic and political backgrounds who all have a love of books in common. There's nothing phony or catty about us. We are intelligent women who aren't afraid to be funny, or loud, or gross, or anything other than exactly who we are. We're on a mission to go global!
