| Introduction | Corey Grayhorse is a native of Venice, California. Her eye for imaginative composition led to a study of photography at Santa Monica College. After relocating to Providence, Rhode Island in 2001, she immersed herself in both photography and fabric arts. As a transplant to Rhode Island, it is easy to see her influences of nature as well as the posh, hip-cavalier-easy-going-style of Southern California in her work. Her avant-garde slant on urban life in the city is a refreshing palatte of vivid images that contrast the dreary with the sensational, effortlessly fusing fantasy with reality. |
