| Introduction | Approaching 50 years young. I am married to Brad and we have an eight year old son adopted from Russia. A few months after adopting I was diagnosed with cancer, now in remission. As a consequence of treatment I broke my wrist due to damaged bone from the radiation treatment and am now living with a permanent disability, however, it beats the alternative. One thing I noticed is that most of my son's friends call me Russell's mom which is where I got the blog title. This blog will be about my life the challenges of raising a child, working full time and maybe some musings on cancer survival. We will see. |
