| Introduction | Burcu Göknar was born in Istanbul in December 13, 1980. Graduated in 2002 from Public Relations and Advertisement Department, School of Communications, Marmara University. As a student she worked in MİHA the news agency of the university as a photographic editor, took photographs for professional publications, made photojournals. Since 2003 she has worked for various national and international publications starting with Turkish National Geographic Magazine as a freelance photographer. In 2004 with a fellowship from Swedish Institute and the Consulate, she studied at Nordens FotoSkola Biskops Arnö. In 2010 completed her Masters Degree at Marmara University on Communication Sciences. |
