| Introduction | I live and work in Las Cruces, NM, the desert Southwest. I find people fascinating, but I'm a bit of an introvert myself. I write every day, read every day and walk every day, everything else is optional. I'm married, have raised 4 children whom I love very much (and strange to tell, who seem to love me right back) and have recently become a grandmother with the birth of our first little granddaughter in December of 2008. And yes, she is the cutest, sweetest, and most beautiful grandbaby ever! I've been married twice, the first time for 14 years, the second time, it will be 18 years this month (04/09) and counting. My husband grew up in England, was a professor of computer science for many years and now works as a researcher. We met because he's also a musician - and he has played bass in an oldies rock band for years. So, I finally fulfilled my childhood dream, to be the old lady of the bass player in a rock group. Just had to wait until I was an actual "old lady" to manage it. |
