Introduction About 4 years ago, I was having a rummage through old stuff, partly as a way of avoiding what I was supposed to be doing (organising my bedroom in preparation for moving out of my parent's house). I came across a small box, filled with bits of broken junk jewellery and elastic bead bracelets I'd owned as a teenager. "These are pretty", I thought. "It might be nice to buy some elastic and re-string some". 2 hours and one trip to my local craft shop later....a new addiction had blossomed, and a monster was born!! (As you can probably guess, I bought more than just elastic). These days, I'm working to make a start in my career as a newly-qualified speech and language therapist, and engaged in a daily battle to keep the bead-related activities to the minimum necessary to enjoy a normal life! I have a little online shop and a facebook business page - please visit both, and comments are gratefully accepted. All products displayed are 100% handmade and unique, and commissions are welcome - feel free to get in touch via Folksy or Facebook and ask me anything. Cheers :)
