| Introduction | If it weren't for my journalism class, I wouldn't have started this blog. For months, I've been encouraged by friends and family to write a memoir (my sister has even suggested titles for it), but since I don't think I'm interesting enough to actually publish stories about myself and ask people to buy them, I have yet to start writing that memoir. My journalism professor pointed out that blogs are a great medium to get heard and get your stories out there and strongly encouraged the whole class to start one. For me, that was the icing on the cake, and it was in that moment that I decided it was time for the world to hear my voice. So enjoy my stories about college kids acting as college kids should, and remember: the worst decisions make the best stories. Maybe one day I'll thank my professor for getting me to finally join the blogging world. I have actually found it quite enjoyable, I just don't think I'll be emailing my professor a link to my blog anytime soon. |
