| Introduction | Margaret Hasse is a poet whose latest collection is MILK AND TIDES (Nodin Press, 2008). Her previous books are IN A SHEEP'S EYE, DARLING (Milkweed Editions) and STARS ABOVE, STARS BELOW (New Rivers Press). She has received fellowships and awards for her poetry from the National Endowment for the Arts, Loft/McKnight Foundation, Jerome Foundation, and the Minnesota State Arts Board. She has an MA from the University of Minnesota and a BA from Stanford University, both in English. She lives in Saint Paul with her husband and two sons. |
