| Introduction | We are DAFT - an acronym for our combined names: Don and Alice Faye Turney! Thus the name for our new blog. Some folks think we are really daft anyway...traveling the way we do, fulltime, in our 40'Newmar Mt. Aire motorhome. We began this journey in July of 2005 and have traveled in most parts of the lower 48 states, the Maritime Provinces of Canada, and all the way to Alaska. We have wintered in Florida, Arizona, and for the past four years in the Rio Grande Valley in south Texas. Our dog, Buddy, is our travel companion and has grown up on the road with us. We got him as a pup in 2006. |
