Introduction Examples of my adventures in nonprofit work... I have: - produced and taught numerous nonprofit workshops throughout Puget Sound, including a 6-day series in conjunction with the Gill Foundation, and workshops at the Evergreen State College, University of Washington, Highline Community College, and South Seattle Community College; - attracted media coverage of projects and clients by numerous major Chicago and Seattle TV, radio, and newspaper outlets including WLS, WGN, WBBM, CLTV, and KOMO TV News; the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun Times, Chicago Daily Southtown, Puget Sound Business Journal, Seattle Times, and Tacoma News Tribune. - directed winning organizing campaigns, e.g. to improve response in Chicago's 8th Police District to domestic violence; and to develop 160 units of affordable housing; - co-founded Equal Rights WA (statewide advocacy org; and - launched a program to develop civic leaders, one of whom was chosen by local foundations to represent Chicago at 4th World Conference On Women.
