About me

Occupation support worker with vulnerable adults
Location Glastonbury, South West of England, United Kingdom
Introduction My name is Kath and I am lucky enough to live in the uniquely fascinating town of Glastonbury, home of Myth and legend and the iconic Tor. Moving here from Railway cottage in Bucks, in August 2010, was the culmination of 6 years of planning and dreaming and we are loving it. I share my home with my Husband, a stoical Irishman and I'm Mum to 2 rescued Lurchers and The Boy with the Dragon tattoo. I enjoy quilting, sewing and lots of other crafts. I am a vegetarian and enjoy trying new foods and new recipes. We are in the process of restoring an old house and bringing some order into an overgrown and neglected garden My work involves supporting vulnerable adults, some elderly and some with learning disabilities and I absolutely love it. I am passionate about recycling and like to re-use or re-home as much unwanted and leftover stuff as I can. I have kept a diary all my adult life, so this is just another way of recording what goes on and sharing it with others, especially the friends I left behind in Bucks. I like to Blog about my crafts, my family, my dogs, my home town of Glastonbury and the countryside around us. Please leave me a comment, I love to read and reply to them.
