Introduction	I was born and raised in Mankato, Minnesota. Upon graduation from high school I entered the U.S. Navy and was a jet engine mechanic. I also trained as a professional pilot and upon discharge worked as a flight instructor and charter pilot before preparing for the ministry. I graduated from Bethany Lutheran College (A.A.), Mankato State University (B.S.), and Concordia Theological Seminary (M.Div. and Ph.D.). Areas of ministry include, Missionary to Guatemala, Parish Ministry, Missions Executive, and Professor of Missions. I currently am the Provost and Chief Academic Officer at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Missouri www.csl.edu
