| Introduction | I write screenplays and make films, my latest offering Heavy Heart Laughs is a memoir/documentary about dealing with grief with humour. You can see more at web.me.com/lotsa . I live in the Grandview area of East Vancouver in an apartment on Woodland Drive. When my husband and I moved into the building eight years ago it was filled with young single women. Over the years the building (for reasons I can imagine are more than the alliteration) became known as Witches of Woodland building. Some of the so called witches are still here, some have moved on, but the building's name and the loving support group we became remains. I live with and adore my husband and step daughter and have a complicated relationship with a crazy cat. My addiction to putting everyone before myself is gradually being cured by menopause. |
