| Introduction | I have worked as a radio newsreader in Sydney; a television and radio snow reporter in the Snowy Mountains; a regional newspaper reporter in Queensland and I'm currently a sub-editor of broadcast, print and internet news. I am also a freelance travel writer and photographer. I studied social science at university, specialising in international politics and anthropology. I've always been interested in the world and started writing stories when I was eight years old (I still have them neatly filed in my Brownies tote). I am very inquisitive and I quench my desire to learn about the people and places around me by travelling. Whether it be at the local markets or during an overseas expedition, I believe there is always a story to be found. |
