| Introduction | Thank you for stopping by my site. I currently live on the Clinch Mountain, in the southwestern corner of Virginia. It seems like I have always been expressing myself through one form of art or another. My mother would let me sit at the kitchen table and draw on the enameled finish. When it was time to eat supper, she would just wipe off my art and set the dishes on the table. Making art has always been as important as breathing to me. It saves me every day from myself. Besides painting, I create shrines and altars from found objects; and, I create mixed media collages. I have a growing interest in impressionism and enjoy many mediums. I especially find pleasure in collecting what others might throw away and turning it into something beautiful. I offer original paintings online and occasionally in galleries. My artwork is collected both locally and worldwide. |
