About me

Location North Vancouver, BC, Canada
Introduction For the longest time (since about Grade 5 or 6), I have been interested in giving voice through words. I do this in writing of blog postings, poems, songs, and the odd story. I also love the ancient language of Sanskrit through call-and-response chanting (kirtans), as well as singing. Self-expression, creativity, authenticity, and intuition are values that inspire me and that I aspire to. I “get words” intuitively a lot; they don’t come to me visually or aurally. It is instead like an instant knowing, referred to as ‘claircognizance.’ Perhaps this is why I was told, “Write!” by a psychic years ago. I consider myself a life-long learner and have explored and dabbled in a myriad of subjects, including ADHD to EXA therapy to healing. This is reflected in my blog which covers a gamut of topics, from expressive arts, healing and health issues, Michael Jackson, the moon, you name it. When all is said and done, what matters most to me is the size of one’s heart - mine as well! - as it is reflective of one’s soul: I attempt to write from that place as best I can.

You can whistle and steam can whistle, so why do you sing in the shower?

Because I can't whistle as well in the shower! ; )
