| Introduction | I am a social worker (for 20 years now!), currently working for hospice. I have been married to Jeff for almost 13 years - every day an adventure! :) We have a 3 year-old terrier named Riley who has us very well trained and is too cute for his own good, and too mischievous for ours. I am a writer-not yet published, but still working on that. I believe in hospice and wish that everyone who needs it would be able to experience the care and compassion of those who make it so wonderful every day. I love to read, am enjoying blogging (this is my second one!), and have been bitten by the travel bug since our first trip in 2009 to England and Scotland. Electronic gadgets make me twitch and currently my cell phone is smarter than I am! I keep trying, though. I'm learning that God often takes you places you never expected to go, and that can be a scary thing. Right along with that though, are the blessings he brings me every single day.
