| Introduction | My name is Nou. It means sun or sunshine in Hmong. I am proud to be Hmong because I am proud to be different. I was born and raised in Kansas City for 18 years. I have two older sisters and one younger brother. I've been living in Minneapolis for almost three years now. I am married to my lovely husband Simon and we have a beautiful girl named Disaya. We will also be expecting a baby girl in January. I came to MCTC to become a nurse but I came to realize that that's not what I want to pursue right now. I want to study to become a Diagnostic Medical Technician but I don't have the time for that either. Especially with a baby on the way and no babysitter yet. I am now studying for Medical Office Assistant. Hopefully later in the years, I will pursue my dream of becoming a Diagnostic Medical Technician. |
