| Introduction | An Alaska resident since 1969, I've worked in the environmental arena for 16 years, both as a government regulator and as a consultant. Since receiving my M.S. in environmental science and policy from Johns Hopkins University, my focus has shifted to addressing climate change, both through mitigation and adaptation strategies, and the critical role that sustainability plays in each of those areas, particularly its importance for communities in Alaska. |
