| Introduction | I was told when I was in college and university that I would pursue at least three careers in my lifetime. And, yes, I have done that and more, if you also count marriage and motherhood as career four and five. I've earned a living as a secondary (high school and university) educator, hospital market communication manager and fund development director, medical and technical writer, newspaper and feature magazine writer, photographer, book publisher and quantity cook. I love to travel to enjoy new, as well as my favorite destinations. I do that at least eight to ten weeks yearly throughout the world with my current man. Black (Spanish) Irish and English by birth, Sicilian by marriage, currently I'm single. I'm writing my first novel about Sarina, a California Mafia Don's wife. She is a betrayer in love and is betrayed, fights back and helps rescue the wine grape industry from ecological ruin and in the process finds herself. |

No, it's because sponges soak up anything in their paths and tongues are selective.
