| Introduction | I have been crafting since I was very small and started making my dolls clothes when I was 8. I have been married to my hubby for almost 49 years and even made my wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses. I still have the pattern - and the dress. We have had cats all our married life but we lost Ebony in January 2012 and Misty in February 2012. A huge feral cat used to own us but sadly, he died in August 2012. He was such a character for a feral cat and, even though we couldn't touch him, we knew he sort of liked us! We decided we wouldn't take on any more pets but in March 2013 a female cat and her 'husband' started living in the garden and despite being ignored they wouldn't leave so ... in short.... they both adopted us and they have now been neutered and chipped and once again we have fur babies! In 2015 an abandoned long haired puss adopted us and he's gorgeous! I will never know how they knew we would take them in - perhaps it's the large tattoo on our foreheads saying 'MUG'!! We wouldn't swap them for the world though. |
| Interests | I love all crafts and I have tried encaustic art, macrame (showing my age), embroidery, bobbin lace making, enamelling, jewellery and needlework. I'm presently completing my Victorian Dolls House!! Started it in 2000 - ooops! |

| Favorite Books | Loved Enid Blyton as a child, now I love whatever I am reading at that moment. I get through paperbacks by the dozen! |
Why do I keep on buying stash when I have enough in my craft room to last me for the next 350 years???
