| Introduction | We have been together as a couple for over 19 years, and were finally able to get married in October, 2008. We live on 24 acres overlooking Lake Nacimiento, between Paso Robles and Cambria, CA. We enjoy hiking, camping, running, swimming, boating, jet skiing, wine tasting, working on our property, our dog Tinsel, and traveling in our RV. This summer, we decided to take a grand tour of the country in our RV. We tried this in 2006, but it was difficult and stressfull at times. Now we have a much smaller RV (24 ft) which is also much more user friendly. On this trip we have no set agenda as to where we are going or when we will be at any given place, with two exceptions. We will be at a wedding in Colorado at the beginning of the trip and in Northern Nevada desert the week prior to Labor Day for Burning Man. We have with us our German Shorthair Pointer, Tinsel. She requires lots of activity, and that will be a challenge for us. Richard will be continuing his work as an insurance agent, thanks to cell phone and laptop computer equipped with internet card. His employees, Kathy and Debbie, will hold down the fort at the office. |
