Introduction	A middleaged Mom who grew up in "The Valley" of Los Angeles County at a time before area codes when we had prefixes that had names. Hence Dickens 3, which became 343. I find myself a lonely Liberal (not in all things, but certainly, socially) in Orange County CA for the last 30 years. I love living here, but regularly find myself getting steamed up over my morning coffee (a physical and mental necessity in my world) over the "letters to the editor" page in our local paper. Yep, a dinosaur who still reads the newspaper! So why the blog? I had a title I was dying to use, and I do get a kick out of seeing my opinions in print. Besides, it will allow me keep the dust off my long ago English Major. 0 : ) Not all the opinions expressed will be political. I have opinions on lots of things, and rarely have been accused of running out of things to say.
