| Introduction | I am a happily married, almost 40 year-old, with 2 children. My children are both in performing arts schools. My son also actively plays baseball and basketball while my daughter is a professional volunteer (at Church, school, helping friends...she volunteers for everything except to help at home):). Additionally, my husband is retiring from the Navy in the fall. The company I worked for down-sized last year. I expected to take a short break and return to the workforce. My heart, however, was simply not in the job search. After a few months at home I realized home is where I need to be. A a result, our quality of life improved more than I could every have dreamed. Yet, I still loved working with a team, mentoring others to succeed, and frankly, with my husband retiring and two college educations looming in my future, some additional income wouldn't hurt either!! After much prayer and a lot of research I settled on two opportunities that allow me both time and financial freedom. It has been the best gift I have ever received. |
